A new thought process!



Hey Guys!


My name is Dev and today I am going to talk about subconscious mind.


Our mind is divided into two parts. One is conscious mind and the other is the subconscious mind. Today my focus would be more on the subconscious mind. The conscious mind is responsible for movement, quick thinking, thoughts, feelings, wishes at any given movement. Basically it is responsible for your present behaviour at the given moment. The subconscious mind is something that makes many people curious. It took a long time to study subconscious mind. At present, when you will search for information about subconscious mind, you will be thrilled to see that there’s a ton of information about it.


There are also a lot of books on subconscious mind. The central idea of all those books is how to reprogram your subconscious mind.

Before telling about how to reprogram it I would like to tell you about what is subconscious mind. Well this part of the brain is the foundation of your thinking and attitude. If the foundation of the building is weak then the building will fall. Same is the situation in case of subconscious mind. If you have built negative thoughts about yourself then your mind will control you and your life will be turned into shreds in a short time.


But if you program your subconscious mind around positive thoughts about yourself and the world you will surely be able to achieve things which you have dreamed of. There are many ways of reprogramming your subconscious mind. I think most of them are useless and ineffective. For example, the method of affirmations. Affirmations are positive sentences which describe your desires and you recite them everyday. For example, I want to become rich. In this method, you have to recite the affirmations everyday. In long term those things for which you affirm will come to you. I think this method is flawed. If you think logically, this is the worst thing. By performing this method of affirmations you are basically reminding yourself that you don’t have those things. For example, you say that you are rich everyday in front of mirror. Don’t you think that you are constantly reminding yourself that you are not rich?. Just think about this for second. You think you are not enough. And you are telling these thing to your subconscious mind every single day. This will have a great effect on your attitude.

Also these things doesn’t work until you take action. You are not going to become a millionaire by just thinking about it. You have to take actions. Set goals and achieve them to thrive on success. Swami Vivekananda once said, “ Arise, Awake and Stop Not Until The Goal Is Reached.” Reflect on this thought.


So what’s the best way to reprogram your subconscious mind. Well the answer to that is breaking the beliefs that you hold about something. Just challenge the beliefs. Let’s say you believe that mathematics is tough. Challenge these belief and try to overcome it by developing skills for it and by learning about it. In my opinion this is the best way to reprogram your subconscious mind. Another thing is intention. You will be fascinated to know that our intention towards something has so much power. If your intend to earn money then no one can stop you except your thoughts. I think we are limitless. The only limit is what we think is limit for us. Otherwise we are limitless and can achieve a lot than we can think of. Just think that our species have evolved a lot in the last five to seven million years. If they thought that they were limited we would have been still living in the Stone Age.


To conclude, I would say that start taking actions, set goals and achieve them. After all life is a game. A game that will eat you alive if you don’t increase the standard of your living.
